AFFIDAVIT IN AID OF TITLE
Gary Ray Simmons, being first duly sworn upon his oath, deposes and states:
1. That Affiant is an adult who resides in Gibson County, Indiana, and is
competent to make the representations contained herein.
2. That Affiant is the owner of fee simple title to the following described real
estate located in Gibson County, Indiana:
Part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section Twenty (20), Township Three (3) South, Range
Twelve (12) West, in Gibson County, Indiana, and described as follows:
Beginning at a point Three Hundred Thirty (330) feet East of the
Northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter of Section Twenty (201, Township Three (3)
South, Range Twelve (12) West; running thence East Three Hundred
Thirty (330) feet; thence South One Hundred Sixty-five (165) feet;
thence West Three Hundred Thirty (330) feet; thence North One Hundred
Sixty-five (165) feet to the place of beginning.
3. That Anne Simmons formerly held a life estate in the above-described real
estate as evidenced by that certain Quitclaim Deed dated May 4, 2000 and recorded
May 30, 2000 as Instrument No. 00-3359 in the Office of the Recorder of Gibson
County, Indiana. That Anne Simmons died on September 3, 2001, a resident of
Vanderburgh County, Indiana. That the assets owned by her at the time of her death
were of insufficient value to cause the imposition of either Federal Estate Tax or
Indiana Inheritance Tax.
4. That Affiant is the adult son of Anne Simmons.
