AN ORDZNANCE TO VACATE AN ALLEY IN PURKEY'S ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF PRINCETON
WHEREAS, Michael W. Stilwell has an interest in Lot 22 Range
2 and Lots 1,�2,�3 and�4 in Purkey's Addition to the City of
Princeton, Zr.diana; and
WHEREAS, there is platted but not improved or opened an
alley which runs from Brumfield Avenue between said Lot 22 and
Lot 1 south and then along the north line of Lots S, 6, 7, 8 and
9 in Purkey's Addition; and
P7HEREAS, Michael W. Stilcaell has petitioned the Com,-non
Council of the City of Princeton, Indiana to vacate said alley;
and
4•7HEREAS, said Petition has been filed properly and notice of
the Petition and the time and place of the hearing has been given
as prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, proner notices have been sent to the zdjoining
landowners and the matter hassbeen published in the Princeton
Daily Clarion and proofs of publication and publication have been
filed with the Common Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the
City of Princeton, Indiana as follows:
1. That the Petition filed herein by Michael Pd. Stilwell
is hereby approved and tha� certain alley located between Lot 22
Range 2 and Lot 1 Purkey's Addition running from Brumfield Avenue
south and then along the north line of Lots 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 in
Purkey's Addition is hereby vacated.
2. A copy of this Ordinance shall be recorded in the
Office of tne Recorder o� Gibson County, Indiana at the expense
of the Petitioner.

3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of
