VIT OF DEA14i AND HEIRSHIP
The undersigned, William R. Stitt, R.R.#2, ELberfeLd,
Warrick County, Indiana, heing first duly sworn on his oath
deposes and says:
That he is more than fifty five (55) years of age; that
he was personally well acquainted with one Phillip Volker, who
died intestate, a resident of Gibson County, Indiana, on
September 12, 1941.
That at the date of the death of the said Phillip Volker
he was the individual owner of the following described real estate
situate in Gihson County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
PARCEL No. (1) Lot Numher Seventeen (17) in the Town of
omervi e, E CEPT, Forty-five (45) feet off the West side of said Lot.
_ PARCEL (2) _Lot.Numher Sixteen (16) in the Town of Summitville
now omerville) in Gihson County, indiana, EXCEPT, Thirty (30)
feet off the East side thereof.
PARCEL (3) Lots Number One C1) and Number 'ltao (2) in Rader's
A i�d� on to the town of Summitville (now Somerville), Gibson
County, Indiana. All coal reserved under said described lots
except the vein known as No. 6, and all other minerals.
PARCEL (4) A part of the East Aalf of the Southeast Quarter
EZ SEa of Section 'It�o (2), Township Three (3) South, Range Nine
(9) West and hounded as follows, to-wit:. Commencing at the Southwest
corner of Lot Number Sixteen (16) in the Original Plan of the town of
Summitville (now Somerville) and running South Ttuenty (20) rods;
thence West Nine (9) rods Thirteen (13) feet and Nine <9) inches;
thence North Ttoenty (20) rods; thence East Nine (9) rods Thirteen
(13) feet and Nine (9) inches to the place of heginning.
This affiant would further say that the said Phillip Volker
left as his sole and only heirs-at-law, his widow, Martha V. Volker
and his adult son Fred L. Volker.
This affiant would further .say that he was personally well
acquainted with the aforesaid Martha C. Volker and that the said
Martha C. Volker died intestate, a resident of Gihson County,
Indiana, on October 11, 1947, and left as her sole and only heir-
at-law her adult son, the above named Fred L. Volker.
