OWENS, Auditor of Gibson County; Indiana: STATE OF INDIANA COUNTY OF GIBSON. SS: REBECCA WARD, being first duly sworn upon oath, deposes and says that SILAS M. WARD departed this life, intestate, a resident of Gibson County, in the State of Indiana, on January 23rd. , 1970, and left surviving him as his sole and only heirs-at-law his widow, REBECCA WARD, this affiant, and his adult daughter, FLORAL EMERSON; that the said SILAS M. WARD zwas, as of the date of his death, the owner of the following described" reai estate, situate in Township, Gibson County, Indiana, to-wit: ��.a An undivided one-third part in value in and to the west half oF the southwest quarter of Section 35, Township 2 south, Range 11 west, excepting therefrom 35 acres off the south end of said west half, leaving 45 acres herein described (the re- maining undivided two-thirds interest is owned by Silas M. Ward and Rebecca Ward, husband and wife), Except the coal; A part of the south half of the southeast quarter of Section 34, Township 2 south, Range 11 west, bounded and described as follows: Begin in the south line of said south half 12 feet east of a stone at the southwest corner of said quarter section; thence east along said south line 1800. 3 feet to a stone; thence north 1188 feet; thence east 204 feet to the center line of the New Brown Main Ditch as now located; thence in a northwesterly di- rection along the center line of said ditch 190 feet to the inter- section of said center line with the north line of said south half; thence west along said northline 1916. 2 feet to the northwest corner of said south half quarter section; thence south along the west line of said south half quarter section 1167. 25 feet; thence east 12 feet; thence south 214. 5 feet to beginning, containing 57. 45 acres, more or less, excepting therefmm 28 acres off the west side thereof, Except the coal. Title in and to the above described real estate vested in the said REBECCA WARD and FLORAL EMERSON, as tenants-in-common, upon the death of the said SILAS M.
