County Council Meeting Minutes Document - October 2011������������������������������������������������������������������������������ Gibson County Council Regular Session October 1l, 2011 ������������������������������������������������������������������������������ The Gibson County Council met in regular session on October 1 l, 201 l, at 9:00 AM in the North Annex Meeting Room. Members Present: George Ankenbrand, President, D. Craig Pflug, William McConnell, Tony Wolfe, William George, LeAnn Smith, and C.T. Montgomery, Auditor. Jeremy Overton, VP, was absent. The meeting was called to order with the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Minutes: The minutes of the September 13, 201 l, meeting were approved with a motion made by Crai� Pflug and seconded by Bill McConnelL Motion passed 6-0. De�artment re�orts: Dan Alvev gave his monthly report and explained why his write-offs were abnormally high. Sheriff Ballard informed the council of the civic projects his road crew has been doing. Tonv Wolfe wanted to thank the Sheriff for the paint job they did for the Shiloh Church. Health Department administrator Jennifer Schatz told the council that the health department would be giving free flu shots to county employees Thursday and Friday next week. New Business: William Geor�e made a motion to approve the Highway departments request to transfer $13,000.00 from 0702-04-03-42 Worker's compensation to 0702-04-02-22 Tires. Craig Pflug seconded and the motion passed 6-0. Tony Wolfe made a motion to approve an additional $550.00 to the Auditor for telephone bills to be paid from the Rainy Day Fund. LeAnn Smith seconded the motion and the motion passed 6- 0. Tony Wolfe made a motion to transfer the Health Departments request of $15,806.14 from 0804- Ol-Ol-11 Personnel to 0804-03-03-15 Contracts and $1,800.00 from 0804-01-01-12 Social Security to 0804-03-03-28 Contracts. William McConnell seconded the motion and the motion passed 6-0. William Geor�e made a motion to approve the transfer request of the Sheriff's Department of $2,000.00 from OS-03-13 Returning Felons to OS-Ol-28 Overtime. LeAnn Smith seconded the motion and the motion passed 6-0. Crai� Pflug made a motion to adjourn and was seconded by Tony Wolfe. Motion passed 6-0. George Ankenbrand, President D.
